Several Qustodio users have requested the option to set a second email address to their account, to allow the other parent to monitor the activity of their kids. Unfortunately, having 2 email addresses within the same account, or having Qustodio send the daily and weekly reports to a different email address is not possible directly within the app at the moment.<\/p>\n
The good news, however, is that it\u2019s really easy to set up an automatic fowarding of the reports sent by Qustodio to another email address<\/a> if your account at Qustodio is associated with an email address at Gmail. And if you don\u2019t have a Gmail account, check below to learn how to setup one up in a few minutes<\/a>.<\/p>\n You can forward or redirect all the emails you receive in Gmail from Qustodio to another email address. \n– Open the Gmail account that you want to forward from.
\n– Click the gear in the top right.
\n– Select Settings<\/strong>.
\n– Select the\u00a0Forwarding and POP\/IMAP<\/strong>\u00a0tab.
\n– Click\u00a0Add a forwarding address<\/strong>.
\n– Enter the email address you want to forward to.
\n– Gmail will send a verification email to that address. Open your other email account and find the confirmation message from Gmail (if can\u2019t find it, check your Spam folder).
\n– Click the verification link in that email.
\n– Back in your Gmail account, reload the page in your web browser (click on the reload icon).
\n– On the same\u00a0Forwarding and POP\/IMAP<\/strong>\u00a0page in Settings, check that\u00a0Forward a copy of incoming mail<\/strong>\u00a0is selected and your email address is in the drop-down menu.
\n– In the second drop-down menu, choose what you want Gmail to do with your messages after they\u2019re forwarded, such as\u00a0keep Gmail\u2019s copy in the Inbox<\/strong> (recommended) or\u00a0archive Gmail\u2019s copy<\/strong>.
\n– Click\u00a0Save Changes<\/strong>\u00a0at the bottom of the page.<\/p>\n
\n– Open the latest report received from Qustodio
\n– Click the\u00a0More<\/strong>\u00a0button, then\u00a0Filter messages like these<\/strong>.
\n– Click Create filter with this search<\/strong>.
\n– Tick Forward it to<\/strong> and choose the selected email address.<\/p>\n
\n– Click the down arrow in your Gmail search box. A window that allows you to specify your search criteria will appear.
\n– In the From<\/strong> field, enter no-reply@qustodio.com<\/em>.
\n– Click\u00a0Create filter with this search<\/strong>\u00a0at the bottom right of the window.
\n– Tick Forward it to<\/strong> and choose the selected email address.
\n– Click the\u00a0Create filter<\/strong>\u00a0button.<\/p>\n
